Dr. Patrick Hofer-Noser has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Member of the Management Board at Meyer Burger Technology AG since 2010. Currently, he serves as Member of the Board of Directors and/or of the Executive Board of different group companies of Meyer Burger Technology AG, as well as Member of the Board of Directors of Guedel Group Ltd. Between 1993 and 1997, he was Assistant Professor for Electrotechnical Development and Construction at Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule Zuerich. From 1998 to 2000,

Dr. Hofer-Noser served as Head Electrotechnology at Atlantis Water Desalination AG. In the years 2001 - 2008, he was Founding Member of 3S and Chief Executive Officer of 3S Industries Ltd. Between 2008 and 2010, he served as Delegate of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of 3S Industries Ltd.

Dr. Hofer-Noser holds a degree in Electronic and Machinery Engineering from Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule Zuerich and a Doctorate degree in Power Electronics and Drive Technology from the same University.
