Dr Huang Qiang is Vice-President of Trina Solar Limited. He is also the Director of State Key Lab of PV Science and Technology, China.

He is a member of the National Standards Committee of China and a member of the Technical Committee of the National Opto-Electrical and Building Integrated Photovoltaic Expert Committee of China.

He was the Co-Chairman for the Solar Cell Technology Forum at the 10th and 11th China Solar PV conferences and Vice Chairman of the Technical Committee for SNEC PV 2011 Power Expo and Conferences.

He was the author of the Technical progress in crystalline-Si-based solar PV for the annual report of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Renewable Energy in 2009 and 2010.

He is the national expert representative for China in the IEC TC82 International Technical Committee working on international PV standards.

He is also a member of the International Scientific Committee for EUPVSEC 2011 in Hamburg, Germany.
