Carsten Busch has over 15 years experience in industrial robot based automation in various fields. He started his carrier at the Fraunhofer Institute (FhG) for Material Flow and Logistic in Dortmund, Germany, following the position as software R&D specialist, sales and project manager at RTR Robotics & Automation in Dortmund, Germany.

Carsten has been with ABB since 1999. His various positions in ABB Robotics have included sales & marketing specialist and business development manager for new industrial robot applications.

Since 2007, he is the global industry segment manager and since 2009 head of Solar PV at ABB Robotics Germany, responsible for robot products and automation used in solar cell and module manufacturing.

Carsten graduated from the University of Applied Science at Bochum/Germany with a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering
